First elected in 2010, Judge Dale Tillery presides over the 134th District Court of Texas, a civil court with jurisdiction in Dallas County. Judge Tillery is seeking another term in 2026.

Judge Tillery has extensive experience in civil trial law, and has more than 40 years of combined legal and judicial experience. Judge Tillery is certified as a specialist in Civil Trial Law and Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He is a graduate of Texas Tech University School of Law.

In addition to his service as a District Judge, Tillery also served in the Texas House of Representatives for the 105th District from 1994 through the end of 2001.
